Lundqvist directs Sweden's national MEG facility, NatMEG, running both SQUID- and OPM-MEG for cognitive and clinical neuroscience and for OPM method development. His work supports a broad user community while advancing the practical deployment and benchmarking of OPM systems. He combines facility leadership with research on attention and perception.
Pfeiffer develops on-scalp MEG using OPM and high-Tc SQUID sensors and benchmarks these against conventional SQUID-MEG. His research quantifies the gains in signal and spatial resolution that come from moving sensors closer to the scalp and addresses the practical challenges of doing so. He works at the intersection of sensor technology and MEG methodology at NatMEG.
