Summary:

Pfeiffer develops on-scalp MEG using OPM and high-Tc SQUID sensors and benchmarks these against conventional SQUID-MEG. His research quantifies the gains in signal and spatial resolution that come from moving sensors closer to the scalp and addresses the practical challenges of doing so. He works at the intersection of sensor technology and MEG methodology at NatMEG.
