Summary:

Spooner uses MEG and OPM-MEG to study motor and cognitive network dynamics and their changes with aging and disease. The work complements NV-center diamond ensemble quantum sensing (DEER, NMR, T1 relaxometry) at pT/sqrt(Hz) sensitivity by pursuing the same field-sensing goals in a different physical platform.
